SUNDAY WORSHIP

We gather weekly on Sunday mornings to worship together and learn directly from God’s word. We don’t categorize our music style as contemporary, traditional, blended, or emergent. We just sing songs that bring glory and honor to Jesus. If it's a hymn then it's a hymn and if it's a modern worship song then it's a modern worship song. Our desire is to honor God through our music. We clap (most of us on the beat), we use electric instruments and drums and sometimes it is LOUD.

Experiencing communion and baptism together is also important to us. We participate in the Lord's Table on the first Sunday of every month to honor Christ by remembering his sacrifice on our behalf. We also love baptism. Baptism means people are coming to know Christ and are dedicating their lives to following him. We look forward to baptizing those who have made that commitment to Christ and desire to make a public declaration of their new life in Him by experiencing full immersion baptism. There is much more to communion and baptism than listed here, so if you have any questions about the significance of either, please don't hesitate to contact any of the pastoral staff.

CHILDREN'S WORSHIP

We firmly believe that kids are incredibly receptive to the good news of Jesus Christ. That is why our Children’s Ministry is centered on giving kids the opportunity to learn about Jesus and to place their faith in Him. Every Sunday we offer a full hour of high energy and exciting programming specifically designed to reach children with the good news and teachings of Jesus in an age appropriate way.  We would love the opportunity to care for your children starting from birth through age two called "The Little Dippers" and 3 years old through Kindergarten called "The Big Dippers"  After Kindergarten children in 1st through 5th grade move up into "The Rock 95.1" where they continuing learning what it means to be a child of God.  When you come to worship with us one of our volunteers will be happy to help you get your child checked into the appropriate area for his/her age.

YOUTH

180 Youth Ministry provides a safe and fun place where students feel welcome to explore God’s truth and experience His love.  Teens can openly discuss issues in light of God’s truth as given to us in the Bible.  We also offer and encourage students to get plugged into a small group for continued discussion and accountability.  It is also our purpose to encourage students to serve others in the name of Jesus.  We have a dedicated team of college students and adults volunteering to help teens connect to a dynamic and life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ and empower them to change the world by loving God and loving people.

NEIGHBORHOOD GROUPS

A Small Group is roughly 6-10 people who gather regularly outside of Sunday services.  The purposes of our Neighborhood Groups are for building community (another way of saying fellowship for you old-schoolers)  The priorities of these Groups range from studying God’s word, supporting one another in prayer, and serving the community and the church.  We also believe that Neighborhood Groups are a great way of getting new people connected with the church and to one another.  If you would like to be contacted about joining a Group, please go to the contact us section and let us know that you would like more information.

E-PRAYER

We love to pray and we are always looking for reasons to talk to God.  If you have a request, we want to know about it.  Please use the contact us section above and share with us your request.  When you do this someone will immediately receive an email and the information will be shared on our e-prayer list as well as the prayer chain.  (Yes, we still have one of those.)  You can also ask us to keep the information confidential and have the assurance that your need will only be shared with the appropriate pastoral staff member.
