prayer/needs & assistance

Prayer

Prayer for our neighbors-  Father, please bless each of my neighbors. If they are sick give them health, if they are hurting bring them comfort, if they are discouraged bring them peace. If there is anything that I can do for them Lord Jesus, please show me. Amen.

Prayer for ourselves- Prayer of Francis of Assisi- Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.  Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy.  O, Divine Master, Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; To be understood as to understand; To be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.

Guidance and direction from God for the future vision of The Well

Please pray for those who are seeking employment

Please pray for those in our church who have personal needs like a dependable car, other similar needs.  Pray that God will help us all to find where we can lessen the burden of others.

Pray for all of those in transition. Whether it choice of school, finding a job, or the stress of a new one.  Please also pray that God will give peace to those who are struggling relationally with broken hearts, hurt feelings and loneliness.  Pray that the Holy Spirit would provide understanding that he may provide one of us.

Pray for all of our neighbors asking God to bless them and give us opportunities to make a difference in their lives.

Pray for The Well.  We are seeking God's direction and wisdom as we look for a permanent place of worship.

Needs and Assistance

If you have a specific need that someone may be able to help you with, please go to the contact us section on the website and make a request by filling out the appropriate information.  This can be a request for assistance with light to moderate home projects, the need for specific items, prayer or for someone to visit you.  Also, if you have items or abilities that you would like to make available for others, you can use the needs board to list those items or services as well.  Once you have made a request or an offer, the pastoral staff will take it into consideration and potentially place it on our needs board.  We hope this service will not only help us to meet needs but give us opportunities to take care of the needs of our community.  For your safety, do not allow an individual to come to your home unless you know that person.  If you have any questions about an individual, please contact the church offices to be certain that all parties are protected.  When at all possible be at home with a friend whenever someone is at your home to offer you assistance.

We do have a new staff member Jim Hippensteel.  He is the coordinator for compassion.  Please Contact the Church office at 260-358-9303 and Jim will call you to see how you can best be served.  God Bless
